The Mini Tummy Tuck Procedure

A mini tummy tuck procedure can last between two and three hours and is performed under general anesthesia. This tummy tuck requires a short incision just above the pubic hairline, similar to a C-section incision. Lower abdominal muscles are tightened using sutures, and excess abdominal skin and fat are removed. Also, unlike a traditional tummy tuck, an incision is not made around the belly button. Liposuction may also be used to remove excess fat deposits. Once the procedure is complete, the incisions are closed and dressed.
