Tummy Tuck Procedure

This patient is a 39-year-old female from Minneapolis, Minnesota who had two pregnancies resulting in great deal of stretch marks on the lower abdomen. She underwent abdominoplasty and was very pleased with her result. This is a 58-year-old woman who is from Woodbury, Minnesota who came in interested in an abdominoplasty and liposuction of the flanks. She did have a previous Pfannenstiel incision. She did not have significant stria of the abdomen. She underwent full abdominoplasty combined with flank liposuction. At the time of surgery, she had 3 liters aspirated from the flank area. Her abdominal specimen weighed 725 g. Postoperatively, the patient was very pleased with her result. She is able to fit into her own clothing with more looseness and actually has down a pant size. She is very happy with her result.

This is a 37-year-old woman from Maplewood, Minnesota who presented because of concerns regarding her abdomen and the flank area following delivery of her children. The patient had stretch marks from her pregnancies as well as some fatty tissue present on the flanks. At the time of her surgery, she had 3800 cc of tissue aspirated. The abdominoplasty specimen weighed 851 grams. Following her surgery, she was very happy with the results although not every stretch mark could be removed. The majority of the stretch marks were below the belly button and her scar was not visible in the type of underwear she chose to wear or in her swimsuit.
