What is Dysport®?

Dysport® is an injectable treatment for adults who wish to smooth the appearance of lines between the eyebrows and around the mouth. Made of Botulinum Toxin Type A, Dysport® blocks nerve signals that tell muscles to contract, resulting in a smoother, more youthful appearance.

Trusted & Experienced

all female staff

“Dr. Rocheford and her staff made me feel valued, comfortable and confident in my decision to go ahead with a tummy tuck, arm lift and breast lift. I could not be happier with the results. I am now about a year post-op and loving having a shape again! I had lost about 70 pounds and had so much extra skin. Everything is back where it belongs.
On the two days I had surgery, the staff made it feel more like a spa day than major surgery. The instructions for care after the procedure were clear and I had access to a nurse if I had any questions. I highly recommend you look at her before and after gallery if you are considering plastic surgery.”

“The results exceeded my expectations. They coached me through the entire process and I’m extremely happy I decided to do the surgery. They are perfectionist. The best. Thank you for the beautiful results.”

Cost of Dysport®

The cost of your Dysport treatment depends on how many injections you receive. The number of injections needed for your treatment will depend on what area, or areas, of the face are being treated and the severity of your concerns.

Who is a Good Candidate for Dysport®?

Patients who are unhappy with wrinkles and lines in their faces can greatly benefit from Dysport® injections. These injections work best in patients under 65 years of age who are seeking an improvement in their facial features. Patients who are allergic to cow’s milk protein should not receive this injectable. Those with an allergy to botulinum toxin type A should not receive Dysport injections as a serious reaction can occur.

The Procedure

Dysport® injections are done in-office and are often done in less than 15 minutes. A small needle is used to inject Dysport® into the facial muscles to weaken wrinkle-prone muscles. The number of injections will depend on the individual’s cosmetic goals, though most patients receive between two and five injections.

Signs of facial aging begin in the thirties. Common areas include the forehead, frown lines, and crow’s feet. These areas can all be treated with either BOTOX or Dysport. These medicines will stop the muscles from creating those wrinkles. The goal is to minimize lines and shadows on the face while restoring smooth skin, not overdo things.

Dysport® Recovery

After receiving Dysport® injections, patients may experience mild swelling and bruising, which should resolve quickly. There is no downtime associated with this treatment, so patients can return to their everyday activities immediately. Results are often visible after two days and can last for four months.
