all female staff

“Not only is her skill impeccable, she is knowledgeable, personable, and realistic. Her facility and staff is outstanding. I would recommend her without reservation.”

“There are not that many women surgeons in the Twin Cities. I felt Dr. Rocheford listened to what I wanted to achieve, didn’t push other procedures and was realistic about expected outcomes. I am so happy with the results, well placed stitch line and natural looking outcome. The aftercare nurse Jenny was spectacular. I felt well cared for and she was available whenever I had a question. If I decide to do another procedure I will definitely go back to Dr. Rocheford.”

Types of Implants for Breast Augmentation

Silicone Implants

At Rocheford Plastic Surgery, we primarily use Allergan’s Natrelle breast implants, often referred to as gummy bear breast implants. They are silicone implants that are filled with silicone gel.

These gummy bear implants are often preferred because they can mimic natural breast tissue and remain cohesive even in the rare case of breast implant rupture.

The gummy gel silicone breast implants come in a number of different profiles and gummy gel options based on the results you’re looking for.

The round silicone gel implants options include Natrelle Inspira Responsive, Natrelle Inspira SoftTouch, and Natrelle Inspira Cohesive (a cohesive gel implant). The profile options range from minimal fullness to enhanced and maximum fullness. Which silicone gel filled implant is right for you really depends on your current breasts, your body proportions, and your preferred fullness.

Saline Breast Implants

Saline filled implants are also an option for breast augmentation surgery. Instead of being filled with silicone gel, these are filled with a saline solution.

Because the silicone shell is inserted into the breast before it’s filled, the incision is typically smaller, and any scar tissue is less noticeable after your breast implant surgery. Your saline implant options usually include teardrop or round implants.

During your consultation, Dr. Rocheford will discuss the pros and cons of each breast implant procedure to help you make the most informed decision. Whether you’re interested in cosmetic surgery for aesthetic enhancement or breast surgery for reconstructive purposes, we are here to guide you every step of the way.

Breast Implant Placement

Where we place your breast implants can be just as important as the type of breast implants you pick. Depending on your existing breasts, your anatomy, the size of the implant, and the results you’re seeking, we’ll either place the implant above or below the chest muscle.
