Tummy Tuck Patient 12
This is a 48-year-old female from Blaine, Minnesota who was seen because she was interested in a tummy tuck. She had given birth to five children and although she is wearing size 4 pants, she is very unhappy with the appearance of her abdomen. She did have a C-section and had a well-healed Pfannenstiel incision on her lower abdomen. At the time of surgery, she had previous C-section scar removed. She also underwent liposuction of the flanks or the back fat otherwise known as muffin top. She had a total of 2200 cc removed from the back. The abdominoplasty specimen weighed 1.5 pounds. Following surgery, the patient did very well and she was very pleased with her results. She was able to fit in her size 4 pants very comfortably and was able to fit into some size 2 pants as well.
