Breast Augmentation Patient 9
This is a 39-year-old female from Hudson, Wisconsin who was referred by her sister for breast enlargement. She has been wearing a size 36AB bra and was tired of always needing to wear padded bra. She is an attorney and wants to be able to fit into her suit jackets properly. She has not had any children. She is very active with exercise and does fitness at least three times per week of an aerobic nature. The patient selected a 325 cc Smooth Round Mentor Moderate Plus saline implant. This was placed in a submuscular position and field to 350 cc. She went from a 36B to a 36D. She is very happy with her results and feels very appropriate in her professional clothing.

Breast Augmentation Patient 8
This is a 40-year-old woman from Woodbury, Minnesota who was interested in breast augmentation. She presented to the office preoperatively and was in a size 34A bra. She had two young children and had always felt that her breast size was too small. She was very active with daily exercise. She was not interested in a very large augmentation. The patient underwent breast augmentation with 270 cc Smooth Round gel implants placed in the subpectoral pocket. Postoperatively, she was very happy with her result. She felt that she looks slightly better than she did in her padded bra and was fitting into a 34B bra very nicely. She was very happy with the natural look and contour.

Breast Augmentation Patient 7
This is a 33-year-old woman from Somerset, Wisconsin who was interested in breast augmentation. Preoperatively, she was wearing a 34AA bra. She has two children under 10 years old. She does like to walk and run. She is interested in being able to care for her children and exercise after her surgery as well. She tried on implants in the office and would like to go with the 350-cc implant. Postoperatively, the patient was very happy with the results. She had silicone implants 350 cc Moderate Plus silicone implants placed in the submuscular position bilaterally. These were placed through inframammary incision. She is wearing a 34C postoperatively. She is very happy with her result.

Breast Augmentation Patient 6
This is a 36-year-old woman who is from St. Paul who is interested in breast augmentation. She was a 34A or B preoperatively. At the time of her surgery, she had a 375 cc Smooth Round Moderate Plus saline implant in the right and a 350 cc Smooth Round Moderate Plus saline implant placed on the left. These different implants were selected because of a preoperative breast asymmetry. At the time of her surgery, the 375 cc implant was filled to 435 cc. The 350 cc on the left was filled to 375 cc. Postoperatively, the patient was very pleased with her result and with her symmetry. She postoperatively was happy to fit into a 34D or 32DD bra.

Breast Augmentation Patient 1
This is a 35-year-old woman from Rosemount, Minnesota who is interested in breast augmentation. She is an avid swimmer and athletic in other ways as well and was concerned with possible submuscular placement of the implants. Discussion was held with the patient regarding risks of submuscular versus subglandular placement and benefits of each position. Because of the patient’s swimming and other athleticism, she was not interested in interrupting the pectoralis muscle insertions. We did discuss subglandular placement of the implant. Because of the subglandular placement of the implant, she had textured gel implants 255 cc placed in the subglandular position. She went from a size 36B bra to a size 36C bra. She has been able to swim without difficulty. Her breasts are soft and symmetric. She is very happy with her very natural soft results.

This is a 31-year-old female from Cottage Grove, Minnesota who was interested in breast enhancement following loss of volume. She was wearing a size 32A bra. She has two small children, but is certain that she is done having children. She selected 350-cc High Profile implants to be placed in the submuscular position. Following surgery, she was very pleased with her result and found that she was able to wear either a 34D or a 32DD bra. She was especially pleased that she no longer had the loss of volume right at the level of the armpit and she was able to wear tank tops without feeling self-conscious.
