Tummy Tuck Patient 68
This is a 38-year-old woman from Cottage Grove, Minnesota who was unhappy with the appearance of her abdomen after childbearing. She underwent four normal vaginal deliveries. Her last child was over five years ago. Despite vigorous exercise, she could not do anything to improve the contour of her abdomen. She underwent full abdominoplasty. At the time of her surgery, only 1.7 pounds of tissue was removed; however, significant plication of the rectus fascia was performed both vertically and horizontally. Postoperatively, the patient was very happy with her results.
