Breast Procedure

She is a 15-year-old female with bilateral symptomatic macromastia. Preoperatively, she was wearing a 32G bra. At the time of her surgery, she underwent resection of 455 g from the left breast and 711 g from the right breast. Postoperatively, she was very happy with her size and symmetry. She went from a G-cup to a 32C.

This patient is a 49-year-old female who is from St. Croix River Valley, Minnesota.  She had been plagued by large breasts.  She had a very symptomatic neck pain, back pain, and shoulder

pain.  Prior to surgery, the patient was wearing a DD or DDD bra.  At the time of surgery, she had approximately 400 grams removed per side.  Postoperatively, she was wearing a size C cup bra.  She is very happy with her result.  She felt much more comfortable in clothing and with exercise.

This patient is a 47-year-old female who underwent bilateral breast reduction and upper eyelid lift.  She had always been bothered by her large breasts.  This made it difficult for her to wear clothing and exercise.  She had back, neck, and shoulder pain as well as shoulder grooving from wearing the bras.  At the time of surgery, she was a 36DD or DDD.  At the time of surgery, she had 507 grams removed from the left and 461 grams removed from the right.  She went down to a 36C postoperatively.  She felt very comfortable doing exercise and activities. She was pleased with her result.

This is a 39-year-old woman from Hugo, Minnesota who is interested in breast reduction. She was very unhappy with the appearance of her breasts. She felt that they were too large for her to participate in sports. She was wearing a C-cup at the time of her evaluation and was interested in going to an A or B cup. She underwent bilateral breast reduction. She had 345 g removed from the left breast and 335 g removed from the right breast. Postoperatively, she was able to wear a size A or B bra. She is very happy with her result.

This is a 53-year-old woman from Woodbury, Minnesota who was bothered by neck, back, and shoulder pain in addition to having difficulty with exercise and finding clothing to fit her properly. She underwent a breast reduction on an outpatient basis. She went from a 36D down to a 36B bra. She is very happy with her result.

This is a 54-year-old female that came from Cottage Grove, Minnesota who is interested in breast reduction. She had the procedure performed and had approximately 500 g removed from each side. She was a 36C bra prior to surgery. She has pain in the shoulders, back, and neck. She underwent breast reduction and had again approximately 500 g per side removed. Postoperatively, she was doing well. She went down to a 36B after surgery. She was very happy with the result. She is able to exercise and go without a bra in a tank top in the summertime and feel comfortable in a swimsuit without fear that she was going to fall off the swimsuit.

This is a 57-year-old female from Inver Grove Heights who was concerned regarding the large appearance of her breast. Additionally, she was having difficulty with back pain and neck pain. She also was troubled by heat rash underneath the breast especially in the summer time. Prior to her surgery, she was wearing a 40DD bra. She has significant back, neck and shoulder pain and is significantly limited in her ability to perform gymnatics and in other athletics due to the large size of her breasts. She proceeded with breast reduction. At the time of her surgery, she had 667 g removed on the right and 596 g removed on the left. Postoperatively, she was very pleased with her result. Her preoperative bra size was 36DDD. Postoperatively, the patient went down to a 36B or 34C cup bra. She was feeling much better postoperatively in terms of her back, neck and shoudler pain and was very happy to fit into her sports clothing and participate in athletics without pain or embarrasment.
