This is a 59-year-old female who was interested in abdominoplasty and flank liposuction. She underwent both the procedures. At the time of surgery, she had approximately 4 liters of fat suctioned from the flanks. The abdominoplasty specimen weighed approximately 2 pounds. Postoperatively, the patient was very happy with her result. She went from wearing a size 12 pant down to a size 4. She lost 23 pounds following the procedure.
