What is Evolve?

Evolve is a non-surgical body contouring treatment that removes fat, tightens the skin, and builds muscle for more complete results compared to other treatments. Evolve is a beneficial treatment for common “problem areas” like the abdomen, upper arms, flank, thighs, buttocks, or hips.

How Does Evolve Work?

Evolve works using a combination of radiofrequency (RF) and electromagnetic stimulation (EMS). The RF energy targets excess fat cells, ultimately damaging and destroying them. These damaged fat cells are then safely metabolized by the body, permanently removing them. At the same time, RF energy stimulates new collagen and elastin production, resulting in tighter and more youthful skin with improved elasticity.

EMS then works to stimulate rapid and deep muscle contractions throughout the course of treatment. This works in much the same way as a traditional workout, but with enhanced results. This tones and strengthens the muscles for a lean and athletic appearance in the treatment area.

Who is a Good Candidate for Evolve?

Most patients who are at a healthy and stable weight but wish to contour their bodies are good candidates for Evolve. The treatment is beneficial for those who see mild to moderate skin laxity due to factors such as previous weight fluctuations or aging. While Evolve is an effective body contouring treatment, it is not a weight-loss procedure or intended to replace a healthy lifestyle. Rather, think of Evolve as a complement to the results you achieve through a balanced diet and regular exercise. The Evolve Procedure

The Evolve device includes adjustable applicators that are placed directly on the treatment area. With the applicators in place, the system will be adjusted to your unique needs and goal results. The applicators will then deliver a combination of RF and EMS. You may feel a warming sensation and some muscle contractions, but the treatment should not be painful. Evolve sessions take approximately 30-60 minutes to complete. Most patients will require multiple Evolve treatment sessions to reach their ideal results. Recovery After Evolve

One of the primary benefits of Evolve is that the treatment requires no downtime. You can immediately return to your normal routine after treatment, making it the perfect “lunchtime” treatment option. You should follow the aftercare instructions following Evolve treatment. No exercise for 24 hours after the treatment. Many patients will experience some degree of soreness in the treatment area, similar to what you might feel after an intense workout. This is temporary and a sign that the muscle contraction stimulation was effective.
