How a Face Lift is Done | Rocheford Plastic Surgery

Posted on February 25, 2014 by: Dr. Rocheford

Face lifts can be performed in a variety of ways, with the incision typically starting at the root of the ear and hidden in the natural creases of the face. The incision curves along bottom of the ear, around the natural crease of the ear, and into or along the hairline.

After the incision is made, the skin is elevated off of the entire cheek and neck, tightened, and pulled upward over the cheek and back behind the ear, creating a more youthful appearance.
