Otoplasty Patient 3
This is a 62-year-old woman from a suburb of St. Paul. She has been bothered by her prominent ears her entire life. She did not like to wear hats or ponytail. She underwent bilateral otoplasty. Postoperatively, she was very happy with her result. She had minimal pain and felt much more comfortable wearing hats and with her hair up.
Otoplasty Patient 2
She is a 13-year-old young lady who is concerned regarding the prominence of her ears. She underwent otoplasty under local in the office. At the time of the procedure, she had a conchal reduction as well as sutures placed in the superior crus. Postoperatively, she was very happy with her result. She felt comfortable wearing a ponytail and participating in sports activities.
Otoplasty Patient 1
This is a 15-year-old woman from Owatonna, Minnesota who was concerned regarding prominent ears. She underwent bilateral otoplasty in the office under local anesthesia. Postoperatively, she was very happy with the symmetry and position of her ears. She felt very comfortable wearing a headband and was overall very pleased with her results.
