Beloteroin Minneapolis- St. Paul
What is Belotero?
Belotero is a line of dermal fillers used to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles throughout the face. It is a temporary treatment that uses hyaluronic acid to plump treatment areas, effectively smoothing out wrinkles, augmenting certain areas, or achieving a more pleasing facial contour.
What Does Belotero Treat?
With a generally lower-density formula than other dermal fillers, Belotero is highly effective in treating extremely fine lines and making subtle, sculpting changes to your facial contour through cheek and lip augmentation.
Wherever there are fine lines and wrinkles on your face, including the forehead, around the mouth, and around the eyes, Belotero may be used as a way to reduce their appearance. In addition, Belotero can be injected into the lips for a subtle boost in volume, as well as the cheeks and jawline to improve their contour.
The Belotero Procedure
When you come in for a Belotero treatment, your facial aesthetician will ask you about any allergies you may have, which could make you ineligible for facial fillers. Next, they may apply a numbing solution to your face to make the procedure more comfortable.
Belotero is applied higher in the dermis than other facial fillers using a fine-gauge needle. Once your treatment areas have been injected with the appropriate Belotero formula, you will be able to continue with the rest of your day.
Although Belotero does not require downtime, Dr. Rocheford typically recommends patients refrain from strenuous activity for about 24 hours to ensure the substance fully absorbs into the skin. Side effects may include swelling and redness, although these usually subside quickly.
